Hand-Me-Downs

I love hand-me-downs, maybe its because I'm cheap or maybe its because that's what we did growing up. When we got older it kind of stopped, we were all very territorial of what clothes we had, believe me we would go to extreme lengths to wear the others clothes and to protect our clothes (we did not like to share). Its easier to share now that we have grown up over the years. Even now that we are older we still do hand-me-downs and I love it!

Because I am such an OCD clean freak, I have kept most of the stuff I had when I was a little girl in near perfect condition. I honestly thought about throwing alot of that stuff away but I thought I might have a use for it one day so I kept it. Zoey now has all my stuff, my jewelry box, dolls, books, blankets and anything else I still had when I was little. Of course they aren't in near perfect condition anymore (Zoey fixed that), but there are alot of memories that go along with those things, from when I was little and now. I'm really glad I kept them and gave them to Zoey.

We helped Karleigh move to her new place last week, and while we were there she gave Zoey her pink bean bag chair that she had when she was younger. Zoey LOVES it!! It is definitely her new favorite thing to sit in and drag around the house. It even rules over her barbie chair.
