Fall

Every fall since I can remember my sisters and I would rake houses into leaves. Meaning, we would rake out rooms, hallways, swimming pools, and anything else we felt we needed, into the grass, the leaves being the walls. My parents have a HUGE yard so there was plenty of rooms to rake, you didnt run out of space. It was so much fun, we would play outside forever just designing it then raking, and finally we would play house. Yes it is weird, but it is something I always loved and always looked forward too. There are some great memories with my sisters.

When Mom and Dad had enough of the leaves they had us rake the leaves into piles, and then dump them in the garden. It was one of those chores you always knew was coming as soon as the weather changed, and the leaves started falling. It took forever (it probably just took forever cause we would play instead of work)!!

At the Dobson's it is no different, except you dont see alot of leave houses. Last Saturday Doug started raking the leaves into piles. I am not the best at outside work (ok I just dont like to get dirty), so I didnt really help, I just watched as Zoey helped Grandpa. It was so cute, she would fill her little wheelbarrow full of leaves and then wheel it over to the big pile and dump it. Most the time she left a trail from one side of the lawn to the big pile, but it was cute. I love having a little cleaner around!
